Kamil Remeš – Graduate of the Conservatory of Pardubice – guitarist, graduate of Musicology at MUNI Brno, graduate of the Academy of Early Music, the field of study lute and theorbo. Teacher by profession at Music and Art School, researcher, musician, conductor.

Apart from historiographical musicology (Early Modern Age), he is also interested in non-European ethnomusicology and anthropology of music.

As an active musician he has been involved in many music projects across the genres – alternative music, world music and early music – where he uses wide range of historical and ethnic stringed instruments. He is a theorbist and co-founder member of La Bilancetta ensemble which deals with the interpretation of Renaissance and Early Baroque music.

In Esfahan, he studied Persian traditional music and learned Tar playing from Ashkan Rahbar.
